MY STORY

Growing up as an athlete, I felt pressure to perfectly straddle the line of being strong while still appearing feminine, lifting heavy while not making the boys feel bad about themselves, and not getting “too big” while still performing well.

After spending so many years navigating the delicate balance between athleticism and personal identity, I decided to pursue my personal training certification. This journey empowered me with the scientific knowledge to craft a body that reflects inner confidence and self-expression, regardless of societal expectations.

In doing so, my view on fitness transformed entirely from a narrow lens of heavy lifting that had left me feeling constantly burnt out to a holistic approach that embraces functional fitness. This change has allowed me to discover new ways to move my body and feel confident in it, fostering a love and longevity for fitness.

MY WHY

What started as a means of reclaiming my own narrative has turned into empowering countless others to do the same. Since earning my certification, I have guided clients across a spectrum of gender identities and expressions in crafting an outward appearance that mirrors inner strength, authenticity, bravery, visibility, and value.

Whether it is in the visible strength of helping you sculpt that masculine upper body taper or in the unseen strength that comes with transforming years of societal shame into pride.

Whether it is in fostering authenticity through a non-binary client achieving full mobility leading up to top surgery or in the bravery of rebuilding their chest muscles after.

Whether it is in the importance of helping my more femme-presenting clients feel visible and valued in a community where my they’re often overlooked.

Simply put, my “why” is YOU. It is in ensuring that your fitness program aligns perfectly with your body, your aspirations, and your capabilities.
